Live Pools

There is another way for both buyers and sellers to trade publicly – by using the ‘Live Pools’ menu. Below is a step-by-step guide for trading using the ‘Live Pools’, a catalogue of all the currently

  1. Connect your wallet to your preferred DEX swap (for example, Uniswap or Kyberswap)

  2. Set your slippage to 6% (as taxes are 4/4) and purchase some $PEAR tokens

  3. Open the PEAR Swap platform and connect your wallet that now contains $PEAR tokens and the tokens you would like to trade (keeping in mind you will always need some $ETH to interact with the Ethereum blockchain)

  4. Navigate to the ‘live pools’ button on the home screen

  5. This will take you to all the publicly listed pools that are currently open

  6. Browse the pools, toggling between the ‘BUY’ and ‘SELL’ options in the top left corner to view all available pools. You can sort by a variety of filters, search by the token you’re looking for, or simply scroll through and find the pool that suits you

  7. Once you’ve found the public pool you’d like to trade with, click the ‘Offer’ button. This will take you to the page of the specific pool, where you can confirm the details of the proposed trade.

  8. Click ‘accept’ – this will then interact with the platforms’ immutable smart contract, and after first approving the interaction, you will then be prompted again, where you will pay the gas fee you are presented with and the funds you have chosen to list for trade will be transferred to the smart contract (which will act as an escrow service)

That’s it! The ‘live pools’ are where you can browse all the currently open public pools. Once you’ve accepted the trade and your funds are sent to the same smart contract holding the counterparty’s funds in escrow, the payment requirements for this agreement will be considered met. This will automatically release the funds to the appropriate parties – the seller receiving the agreed upon payment, the buyer receiving the agreed upon purchase.
